Alex Boyé, though born in London, became an American citizen on February 22, 2012. When he received his citizenship, he felt inspired to finish the song he began writing after learning of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This song, Calling America, is the result. Boyé is an interent sensation with his Africanized covers of pop songs. He recently made waves by
performing Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” on America’s Got Talent.
Rob Gardner – The Price of Freedom
Rob Gardner is the head of Spire Music, a non-profit organization that has created multiple arrangements and pieces that are now considered classics in LDS culture, including “My Kindness Shall Not Depart from Thee” and “Savior, Redeemer Of My Soul.” Gardner, alongside McKane Davis, wrote
