Our friends at Mormon Life Hacker have shared an easy tool to support the Church’s official #LIGHTtheWORLD Christmas initiative. It allows you to add a special ribbon on your Facebook or Twitter profile picture.

By clicking this link, you are taken to the official app site. Log in using your Facebook or Twitter account depending on which one you want to add the ribbon to and then follow the instructions.

The worldwide initiative focuses on celebrating and sharing the light of Jesus Christ, the “light of the world” (John 8:12). In each of the 25 days leading up to Christmas, you can go to and learn how Christ served and how we can emulate his example.
