Earlier this week, popular LDS singer and performer Alex Boyé was in a car crash. He did not reveal all the details of the crash but did take to social media to share the story and express his gratitude and faith.
“All I remember is dizzying out and then the ambulance taking me to the hospital,” Boyé wrote. “I remember I kept thinking & worrying about the person in the other vehicle, hoping there were no baby’s or kids involved and that everybody is ok. Thankfully, no injuries to person in other vehicle.”
According to Boyé, all he is experiencing is some soreness. He also shared the surprising gift it was that he was driving a new car; a local dealership had asked him to test a new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander and give a review.
“Having that second airbag probably saved my life, or at least from certain disfigurement in my legs,” Boyé said of the second airbag that deployed at his feet.
Boyé is best known in the LDS community for his rousing “Africanized” covers of popular music and his time in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He has also participated in multiple reality show singing contests.
