Alex Boyé’s Inspiring Suicide Prevention Song “Bend Not Break”

One of Alex Boyé’s most recent songs is moving plea to those struggling with mental illnesses and suicidal ideation. Boyé joined with Randy Jackson of American Idol fame and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to write, produce, and distribute the song and video to help those who are struggling. The song, “Bend Not Break,” is the focal point of Boyé’s concert tour across America to educate students on issues surrounding mental health and suicide prevention.

The idea for the song came to Boyé suddenly during a writing session and the inspiration behind the song and the incredible story behind it can be seen in the video below.
