The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has launched a new YouTube channel to help children engage with the gospel of Jesus Christ on a more personal, interactive level.
President Camille N. Johnson, President of the Primary organization, wrote on social media that, “The Gospel for Kids YouTube channel will regularly share sing-along videos, Come Draw With Me videos, broadcasts, and stories from prophets and apostles. Spanish and Portuguese coming soon!”
The channel currently has over a dozen videos, including a personal message from President Russell M. Nelson, the 2021 Friend to Friend broadcast for children, and fun activities. Leaders also hope parents, family members, and Primary leaders will find more confidence as they help children feel Heavenly Father’s love through this new resource.
Sister Susan H. Porter, first counselor in Primary Presidency, said, “When my children were young, I was always looking for resources to help teach them about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I would have loved to have had access to videos like these, and I look forward to sharing them with my grandchildren.”
