LDS pop star David Archuleta uploaded videos yesterday from his time in Louisiana where he has been helping with the flood relief efforts. He posted on social media:

“Down in Louisiana helping out with the flood damage. Didn’t have time to post this earlier today but it is a good feeling to help however you can. It’s sad to see the damage to so many homes but amazing to see everyone come together. Service. Do it!”

“This has made me think twice about what really matters and what I could live without, as everyone here had to learn what they didn’t need and what they did need to start moving forward. Appreciate what you have. I know I need to reconsider a lot of things as I’ve gotten caught up lately in “worldly things” that could easily be gone tomorrow and then I realize I really didn’t need,” he continued.
