The Pleasant Grove, Utah police department posted a picture to Facebook that has gained national attention. Gladys Knight, a convert to the church, was running late to a speaking event for a choir of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was pulled over by two Pleasant Grove police officers. When one of the officers told her it was his birthday, she got out of the vehicle and sang him happy birthday.
Needless to say, the driver did not receive a speeding ticket.
