This week, social media posts from Church leaders have focused on Christlike service, faith, and the light of Jesus Christ.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland reflected on the legacy of his pioneer ancestor, whose sacrifices inspire faith and a willingness to “go and do.” Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf praised a devoted nun in Thailand for her decades of service to at-risk women and children, calling her an example of Christlike love.
The Light the World initiative took center stage in several messages. Elder Quentin L. Cook and Elder Gerrit W. Gong encouraged participation in the Giving Machines, emphasizing how they allow members to share Christ’s love through service.
