After 84 years, The Hill Cumorah Pageant is ending to make way for a new preservation project to preserve the historic and sacred nature of the area. To celebrate the legacy of the tens of thousands of participants over the years, a recording of the pageant from 2019 will be broadcast alongside a special devotional presented by Elder D. Todd Christofferson.

The broadcast will take place on July 9, 2021, and begin at 6 PM Mountain Daylight Time. You’ll be able to watch online here. Watch the video below to learn more about how the Hill Cumorah will be preserved.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officially announced all Church-sponsored pageants would be ending in late 2018. The final season of the Hill Cumorah pageant was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
