Director T.C. Christensen, known for his films 17 Miracles and The Cokeville Miracle, is set to debut a new film, Love, Kennedy. The film, to be released on June 2, is inspired by the amazing true story of Kennedy Hansen.
Kennedy is a funny, loving child but unexplainably she begins to fall. It takes years for the diagnosis…Juvenile Batten Disease, an extremely rare, terrible and terminal prognosis. There is no cure for Batten Disease and after living only sixteen years, Kennedy leaves behind a great legacy of love and friendship. But her story doesn’t end at her death, that’s when the miracles really begin.
Award-winning violinist Jenny Oaks Baker released her song “Awake,” which will be used in the film. The music video features multiple scenes from the movie. You can watch the music video below. To learn more about the film Love, Kennedy click here.
