Chances are you’ve already heard of LDS dad Dave Crosby and his 4-year-old daughter Claire. The two have been creating viral videos for over a year now. This week, Crosby auditioned for NBC’s The Voice, a competition singing show where contestants start off with “blind auditions” where the judges don’t see them, but only hear them singing.
Crosby got a three-chair turnaround from judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Miley Cyrus. When they realized he was from the internet videos they loved, they were wowed. Watch the inspiring audition below, including an adorable surprise performance from Claire.
The video referenced in the clip of Claire and her dad singing Randy Newman’s hit song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” has over 2 million views.
