LDS Violinist Lindsey Stirling Joins Dancing With the Stars Cast

Lindsey Stirling is a worldwide phenomenon, delighting audiences with her vibrant musical talents and racking up millions of views on her YouTube channel. Today, it was announced she will officially be joining season 25 of ABC’s hit reality TV show “Dancing With the Stars.” The show joins celebrities and professional dancers, who learn a different style of dance each week. Voters choose who stays and who goes.

Stirling has been partnered with Mark Ballas, who has won the competition twice in seasons 6 and 8 and has placed in second and third in multiple seasons. Ballas is returning to the show after taking a break after leaving in season 22.

Stirling is no stranger to the dance world; her performances are known for combining her epic violin playing with dancing. You can see an example of her dancing in her music video for “The Arena” below.


“Dancing With the Stars” premieres on September 18, 2017, on ABC.
