As part of the 12 Days of Social, the Church’s initiative to share the message of Christmas through famous LDS artists on YouTube, Lindsey Stirling has released a cover of Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” alongside other Christmas themed tunes.
The video, however, has a different meaning. Lindsey dresses up and plays in a subway station, where she is largely unrecognized, while the rest of the video shows great opportunities she has had to serve while on tour. At the end of the video, she said making the video reminded her of a time when no one saw the beauty in here and how she came to learn Christ always saw it. It reminds us all of the true spirit of Christmas. Watch the full video above and learn more the Church’s Christmas campaign here.
