In her latest performance on “Dancing with the Stars,” LDS violinist Lindsey Stirling opens up about the death of her father. The stars, who are paired with professional dancers and competed for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, were asked to use their most memorable year as inspiration this week’s dances. Stirling chose the year her father passed. Alongside partner Mark Ballas, the two performed an emotional Viennese waltz to Mindy Gledhill’s “Anchor.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli said, “It was gorgeous and magical.”
You can watch the entire performance below, including Stirling’s touching words about her father.
