Paul Cardall, a beloved LDS pianist, is preparing to release his new album, “A New Creation.” The album is inspired by a question that has deeply settled in Cardall’s mind: “For years, I have imagined what would it be like to create a soundtrack to the word of God?”
At “the heart of the album” is a song featuring words by Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cardall created the music and Marshall McDonald did the arrangement. You can listen to a preview of the song below:
“A New Creation” is expected to be released September 16, 2016. You can pre-order it here on iTunes. You can also buy Cardall’s previous CD, 40 Hymns for Forty Days, here.
