A new video from Book of Mormon Central uses research to follow the ancient route Nephi and his family traveled through Israel before they set sail for the Americas. According to the video, nearly every travel detail in Nephi’s record can now be connected with some plausible site, route, or ancient custom or practice. The video hopes to demonstrate that the intimate relationships between the scriptures and the known geography in the Middle East provide excellent evidence of the Book of Mormon’s authenticity.
