For fans of faith-inspiring entertainment, you’ve probably heard of VidAngel and their recent legal troubles. A filtering service that allowed families to choose what to filter out of movies and tv shows, VidAngel came under fire from major entertainment corporations who believed VidAngel was breaking the law by offering their films without proper licensing.
Due to the controversy, VidAngel shut down most of its services as lawsuits ensued. However, last night, the company made the “biggest announcement in the company’s history.”
You can watch the entire live stream announcement here:
The announcement launched a new VidAngel service that will allow families to filter out content on popular streaming sites such as Amazon and Netflix. The new service will cost $7.99 a month. A new video was also released to help the public understand how the service works and why VidAngel believes it is important.
