JK! Studios, formerly of Studio C fame, are competing on NBC’s reality comedy competition, “Bring the Funny.”
On last night’s premiere, Mallory Everton, Jason Gray, Stacey Harkey, Natalie Madsen, Matt Meese, and Jeremy Warner performed a sketch called “Happy Fun Friends”, a slightly twisted spoof on a children’s TV show. The sketch was a hit with the judges and brought the group through to the next round.
“You know what was cool about that?” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sketch group take on a kid’s show,” judge Jeff Foxworthy said. He noted how much Warner, who played the oddball cameraman, made him laugh and the contagious laughter he felt from the group. “It was fabulous.”
“Your stage presence is amazing. The way you work the room is amazing. I thought it was great,” added Keenan Thompson.
