Singing with Angels is a new feature film exploring the life of one woman as she joins the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and finds strength in singing as her family faces seemingly insurmountable struggles.
A narrative film inspired by true events, Singing with Angels began in 2014 when the Tabernacle Choir accepted the offer to collaborate with Candlelight Media Group, the film’s production company. Almost all the members of the real Tabernacle Choir are in the film and shooting was done on location in various buildings around Temple Square.
Advanced screenings are set to start this weekend in Florida with more advanced screenings coming to Utah in March 2016. The film is set to be released on April 8, 2016. For those living outside of Utah, you can get a showing to come to your area by using a special “Demand It” feature on the film’s website. Once you’ve got 250 people signed up in your area, the filmmakers will set up a screening.
