“When I started making this film, I had no idea I was about to live the hardest year of my life,” LDS phenom Lindsey Stirling says of her new documentary film. “While grieving the loss of my best friend, and facing internal battles, I was trying not to crack under the pressure of a planning and completing a world tour. There were many times I looked into the mirror and asked myself ‘Am I brave enough?'”
Debuting on May 17, the documentary follows Stirling as she embarks on her “Brave Enough” tour, which covered 83 shows in 20 countries. The film will include never-before-seen interviews as Stirling faces devastating personal losses and career triumphs.
“It was important to me to be vulnerable and to allow myself to feel everything, so that in numbing the bad I didn’t also numb the good,” Stirling said. “Yes this year was an emotional roller coaster but I’ve had some of the greatest experiences of my life along the way, I’ve gained empathy and I feel stronger than ever before.”
