Lesson
FOR CHILDREN
Begin the lesson with the following activity. Print off a painting of Christ and laminate it if you can. Cut the painting up into pieces to create a puzzle. If your children are a bit older, write words that describe Christ on the back of each piece. Have the children put the puzzle pieces together.
Read aloud: There is a lot to learn about Jesus Christ. He and our Heavenly Parents are full of glory and we will spend our whole lives learning about Them. Instead of being discouraged, we should remember that learning about the gospel is like a puzzle. Sometimes we can fit pieces together right away. Other times, it will take us longer to understand things. However, God has promised that one day the picture will be revealed and all will make sense.
Ask: What is something you know about Jesus? What is something you want to know?
Read aloud: We learn about God and Jesus Christ when we keep the commandments and search, ponder, and pray. Jesus wants us to know Him.
Share a personal experience about how you’ve developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Close with your testimony.
FOR TEENS & ADULTS
Begin the lesson by watching the following video. Ask everyone to think about what President Nelson teaches us about the fulness of the Restoration.
Read aloud: In the Doctrine and Covenants, we have a record of a people who were at the very beginning of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. So many of the things we enjoy now hadn’t been revealed. They had to learn as they went, trusting in God and being patient with one another. The Lord promised them they would grow from grace to grace until they received a fulness of God’s glory and truth.
Ask: How does this relate to us on a personal level?
Read aloud: It’s not always easy to move forward in faith. There will be times in our lives when we don’t understand something about the gospel. We may face confusion and doubt. This should be expected and we should be prepared to respond.
Ask: How do we continue building a relationship with Jesus Christ when we don’t have all the answers we want or seek?
Close the lesson by sharing personal experiences and the bearing of testimonies.
FOR SINGLE STUDY
Read through Doctrine and Covenants 93. Ask yourself, how has Jesus Christ been a “true light” in my life? How have I seen His Light in other people around me? Write down your answers.

Ingredients
12 sheets honey graham crackers, broken in two (24 squares all together)
1 1/2 cups marshmallow fluff
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- On a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, lay out graham cracker squares.
- Top half of them with 2 tablespoons each of marshmallow fluff.
- Add the other half of graham cracker squares on top to form a sandwich.
- Freeze for 15-30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds at a time, until fully melted, stirring at each interval.
- Remove squares from freezer, and dip half in chocolate to coat.
- Add back to parchment-lined baking sheet, and freeze until ready to serve, or chocolate is solid.
- Keep frozen until ready to serve.

Activity
The Shark Bit My Cup
Gather dixie cups or paper cups and poke a small hole in the bottom and sides of each one. Divide into teams and place a bucket at the end for each team to try and fill up. Fill up large buckets of water and place near each team.
To play, have one person fill up their cup and place it on their head. The person then runs to their bucket and dumps the water in. The goal is to keep as much water in their cup as possible. They run back and pass the cup to the next person. The team that fills the bucket up to the top first or has the most water after a certain number of rounds wins.
