Brent S. Borup is a relatively new LDS artist, but his unique style of oil painting and digital editing are attracting a lot of attention. His beautiful portraits of Christ, along with his vibrant renditions of LDS temples around the world, are able to express his own personal testimony and inspire others.
Borup told the Idaho State Journal he creates the painting first with oil paints and then scans the image onto the computer. He then digitally paints the final touches.
Borup developed a love for art in high school and studied at Boise State University and the College of Southern Idaho. He met his wife and fellow artist Jeanette during this time and today they have three children. Want to see more art and learn how to get copies of these prints for yourself?
