New Mormon Message: The Music of the Gospel

New Mormon Message: The Music of the Gospel

The Church has released a powerful new Mormon Message entitled “The Music of the Gospel.” It combines a beautiful principle from the dance of American Indians with gospel teachings. The video features narration by Elder Wilford W. Andersen, who first told this story in the April 2015 General Conference of the Church.

The message of the video is about the necessity of the music of the gospel in our life. The Holy Ghost is the only one who can instill the beauty and reality of the Gospel into our soul. He is the only one that can give us the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ. The steps are just that, steps, they are divinely given and important, but hold no real intrinsic meaning until we “see things as they are” and feel or hear the Gospel. The steps done with the right intent, open us to that Holy communication.
