Today, we celebrate Elder D. Todd Christofferson’s birthday. Here are 15 heartwarming photos of the Apostle you may not have seen before. 

Here’s a photo of Elder Christofferson as a young toddler with his father. Below is a photo of the pair when Elder Christofferson was a teenager.

Elder Christofferson served as a missionary in Argentina. This photo was taken in 1965 at a branch activity. Elder Christofferson is seated on the far right, holding a young child on his lap.

Elder Christofferson married Katherine Jacob in 1968. This is their engagement photo! 

Of his marriage, Elder Christofferson said, “From over a half a century of marriage, I’ve learned that marriage isn’t about two people giving 50 percent each—it’s about both giving 100 percent. Beyond that, the most successful marriages are those in which husband and wife each cultivate their relationships with their Father in Heaven above all else.”
