President Russell M. Nelson loves to ski and did it actively until his call as President and Prophet of the Church. In 2022, he mentioned his old hobby as he anticipated General Conference. “I may not ski black diamond runs anymore, but whether standing or seated, I delight in speaking and hearing words of truth,” he said.

Sister Sharon Eubank’s father was a professional meteorologist and kept a daily weather record. Sister Eubank, who used to serve in the Relief Society General Presidency, would help as a teenager and related the experience to learning to love the Lord as we do His work.
