For many, one of the most miraculous experiences of serving an LDS mission is learning a second language. Even for people who are not-members of our faith, seeing thousands of young missionaries speaking foreign languages fluently is awe-inspiring.
A new video uploaded on the Prepare to Serve YouTube channel showcases dozens of returned missionaries speaking about their missions and bearing their testimonies in more than 50 languages. Prepare to Serve collects hundreds of interviews with returned missionaries from around the world to create a comprehensive collection for prospective missionaries to learn about the missions they’ll be going to. You can see them all here.
Did you have to learn a language for your mission? What was it like?
