Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Salt Lake City on Friday, where he said he loved Mormons but blasted Mitt Romney.
“Do I love the Mormons?” Trump asked as cheers erupted from the crowd. “I have many friends that live in Salt Lake City — and by the way, Mitt Romney is not one of them. Are you sure he’s a Mormon? Are we sure?”
He went on to say that he could be back in New York having fun, being with his family, and doing his deals if Romney hadn’t choked and won the presidential race against Barack Obama.
Romney and Trump have been at odds for quite some time now, especially since Romney blasted Trump in a speech earlier this month. In the address given from the University of Utah, Romney called Trump a con-man and a fake and urged voters to vote for whoever had the best chance of winning against Trump in each state caucus.
