Elder Falabella Joins Faith Leaders in Peru for Virtual Prayer

Elder Enrique Falabella, president of the South America Northwest Area of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, joined with other faith leaders in Peru to pray for relief from the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual prayer gathering was hosted by The Interreligous Council of Peru: Religions for Peace and was presented in a nationwide broadcast on April 7, 2020. Martín Vizcarra, the president of Peru, presented the full program, which is unavailable at this time.

The following video includes excerpts of the prayers as compiled by the Church Newsroom.

A portion of Elder Falabella’s prayer was, “We love Thee, we respect Thee, and we ask Thee to please fill our hearts with faith, with trust, that Ye will always be with us.”
