LDS Missionary in Brazil Fights Off Armed Robber

Two LDS missionaries serving in Manaus, Brazil faced a terrifying situation this week and the entire thing was caught on a surveillance camera. Originally uploaded on Facebook, the video shows the missionaries being robbed at gunpoint and one of the missionaries fighting back.

While the missionaries are walking down the street, two men on a motorbike approach. One of the men gets off and seems to pull a gun out of his belt. After a moment of interaction, one of the missionaries suddenly grabs the gun away and point it at the attacker. As the other man on the bike gets off, the missionary throws the gun over the fence and a fistfight ensues. His companion remains out of the way. For nearly a minute, the altercation occurs, with bystanders jumping in to pull them apart. Both attackers flee the scene.
