LDS member and mother Laura Bates received recognition this month for her donation of 88 liters (approx. 23 gallons) of breast milk to a local hospital. The story was reported by 1 News.

The 88 liters went to New Zealand’s only human milk bank; the donor milk is used to help sick babies, most premature, in the hospital.
