Missionaries Perform Kind Act, Help Elderly Man Shave

Author and speaker Jason F. Wright shared a touching story of two young Latter-day Saint missionaries in his ward on social media.

The two missionaries, Elder Stackhouse and Elder Brown, were visiting Everett Lawrence in the hospital. When they arrived with Wright, they found him struggling to shave. As Wright relates, “So, of course, they offered to help. How inspiring to see a couple of 19-year-olds serving a 75-year-old in such a loving and personal way … This is discipleship!”

Wright also snapped a photo, which he shared with his followers. Missionaries for the Church are encouraged to offer service wherever they go, taking opportunities to do what Christ would do. How have missionaries in your area demonstrated the love of Christ?
