Multiple news sources, including Fox News, the Washington Post, and NBC News, are reporting former Massachusetts governor and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will deliver a speech Thursday about the 2016 presidential race.
Though Romney considered running again in 2015, he decided against it. For most of the current election season, which seems to have throw the GOP into chaos, Romney has remained quiet. Recently, however, Romney has vocalized his worry about Donald Trump and other issues facing the election. According to the Boston Globe, a source close to Romney commented that the speech will not be “an endorsement or announcement of candidacy.”
Most expect to Romney to give a more detailed speech about his feelings and concerns with the 2016 presidential race. He will give the speech live from the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah. It will take place at 11:30 a.m. EST, hours before another Republican presidential debate will take place in Michigan. Check back to LDSDaily.com for full updates on Romney’s speech.
