LDS members Aaliyah and Benjamin Armstrong enjoyed a powerful and moving Maori haka at their wedding reception in New Zealand this month. Little did they know the rest of the world would soon enjoy the moment as well.
With more than 3 million views and counting, the video, uploaded onto a I’m Proud to Be Tongan Facebook page, shows the wedding guests performing for the happy couple. It quickly moves the bride to tears and the groom, who watches with a straight face, suddenly joins in with enthusiasm at the end. You can watch the full video below. Below that, you can also watch the couple’s wedding video created by Westone Productions, where the Armstrongs talk about their love for the temple and enjoy other cultural traditions.
