Elder Neil L. Andersen Visits Haiti

Update: Elder Andersen, of the Quorum of the Twelve, visited Port-au-Prince Haiti over the weekend. He presided over a stake conference and announced that the Church has obtained the land for the Port-au-Prince Haiti Temple.

Temple facts: This will be the first temple in the country of Haiti, and the second in the Caribbean. The first is also on Hispaniola, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Cupola Framework Added to Barranquilla Colombia Temple

Update: The framework for a decorative cupola has been added to the Barranquilla Colombia Temple. The cupola will add to the Spanish Colonial-style tower upon which it sits.

Temple Facts: The Barranquilla Colombia and Durban South Africa Temples share a basic floor plan.

Paris Temple Details Added

Update: An illuminated water feature and Christus statue were placed on the grounds of the Paris France temple this week.

Temple Facts: The public open house will be held from Saturday 22 April – Saturday 13 May 2017.
