Foundation Walls Visible for Lisbon Portugal Temple
Foundation piers are set in place to support the weight of the Lisbon Portugal Temple, allowing crews to begin pouring the building’s basement walls. These walls can be seen just below the ground level at the temple work site. Next door, the meetinghouse exterior walls are nearing completion.
Sod Laid in Idaho

Fresh dark green sod now covers the east side of the Meridian Idaho Temple grounds. The numerical address of the property has been affixed to the decorative fence along the east property line.
Fortaleza Brazil Temple Stands Out
Located on a plot of land just blocks from the ocean in the Dunas neighborhood, the Fortaleza Brazil Temple is drawing attention from residents and tourists alike. In upcoming months the concrete exterior walls will be clad in a beautiful light-colored stone.
New 3D Model
A 3D flyover model of the Rio de Janeiro Brazil Temple gives viewers a chance to see what the edifice will look like upon completion. In reality, a solid barrier will surround the construction site for several months. Watch the model, created by Brian Olson, below.
Barranquilla Temple Featured in Local Paper
The El Heraldo, a Barranquilla newspaper, published an article about the Barranquilla Temple construction this week. The article was accompanied by a photo of the construction site. The temple is currently projected to be completed in the later half of 2018. Read the article (in Spanish) here.
