Upper Walls Poured in Portugal

Concrete forms have been removed from the second level walls of the Lisbon Portugal Temple. The structure will have another level added to the center and will be topped with a glass-filled steeple.

New President Called to Preside in England

Following the recent passing of President Joseph Leece, the First Presidency has called Michael A. and Carol R. Rigby to serve as the new president and matron of the Preston England Temple. President Rigby had previously been serving as the second counselor in the temple presidency. President Leece had been serving as the temple president since 2015.


Steeple Added to Fortaleza Chapel

Progress continues at the Fortaleza Brazil Temple complex. Stone cladding is making its way up the temple walls and a steeple caps the adjacent meetinghouse. No official date has been announced, but the temple is estimated to be completed in mid-2019.


Salt Lake City Temple Square Lights Begin

Christmas has begun at Temple Square! Starting the day after Thanksgiving every year since 1965, over a million lights have been strung around Temple Square to celebrate the Christmas season. The lights will stay up until 2 January 2018.
