Preparing for the Steeple Base of the Arequipa Peru Temple

At the site of the Arequipa Peru Temple, crews are installing a vapor barrier along the foundation walls in preparation for walls at the base of the steeple. The contractor for this project is also overseeing the construction of the Concepción Chile Temple.

Drywall Installation Begins in South Africa

With the Durban South Africa Temple enclosed, crews have begun hanging drywall. Installation continues on plumbings, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. Work has started on a roof and retaining wall at the housing facility. Crews are continuing bricklaying, plastering, woodworking, and utility installation.

Steeple Cladding in Africa

Scaffolding has appeared around the steeple framework for the Kinshasa Democratic Republic of the Congo Temple. The steeple is being clad in white stone and will be topped with a finial. The temple shares land with an operating stake center and institute and seminary building.
