Orem Utah Temple Site Announced

This past Wednesday, the Church announced the location for the three-story, 70,000-square-foot temple that will be built in the city of Orem, Utah. The temple will be constructed in the southwest corner of Orem, near Utah Valley University, at approximately 1471 South Geneva Road. The 16-acre tract of land will be shared by a meetinghouse of roughly 20,000 square feet. With its location so close to the I-15 interstate, this temple location will be beneficial for the members within the area.

Christmas Light Display at the Mexico City Temple

On Tuesday, an aerial photograph was taken of the beautiful Christmas Light display at the Mexico City Temple, capturing the intricate and beautiful display to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Visitors are welcomed to walk the grounds and view the different exhibits that are being held at the visitors’ center including a replica of Thorvaldsen’s Christus statue.

Laying Exterior Brick at the Winnipeg Manitoba Temple

Orange tarps drape around the exterior of the Winnipeg Manitoba Temple to keep bricklayers and their materials protected and warm during the frigid winter temperatures. In a staging area in the front of the temple, the frame of the spire has been sheathed and is currently being painted and beautiful gold. The exterior of the adjoining meetinghouse is nearly completed including functioning exterior light fixtures.

Location Announced for Taylorsville Utah Temple

This past Wednesday, the location of the Taylorsville Utah Temple was announced. This beautiful temple will be constructed on the site of an existing meetinghouse and recreational field at 2603 West 4700 South. Located at the corner of an I-215 interchange, it will provide convenient access to patrons and be highly visible to beltway motorists.
