Temple Dedication in Chile
On Sunday 28 October, President Russell M. Nelson dedicated the Concepción Chile Temple. This is the 160th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the second temple in Chile.
Cladding Progress in Peru
Granite slabs are being attached to the exterior walls fo the Arequipa Peru Temple. Crews have nearly reached the top of the temple’s domed tower. Temporary window coverings are in place, allowing additional crews to continue interior work.
Barranquilla Open House Begins
Free tickets are available for the Barranquilla Colombia Temple open house, which will run from Saturday 3 November through Saturday 24 November. The temple will then be thoroughly cleaned in preparation for its dedication on Sunday 9 December 2018.
Progress Update from Mesa
Scaffolding has been set up around the Mesa Arizona Temple, allowing crews to remove exterior windows. The replacement windows will be a sturdier replica of the original glass.
Cladding in the Carolinas
Crews at the Raleigh North Carolina Temple have been hard at work attaching stone cladding to the structure’s exterior walls. Framing work continues inside the temple and drywall is beginning to be hung. Interior changes will include minor floor plan modifications to help provide a better experience for temple patrons.
