Latter-day Saint temples continue to be built around the world as the gospel of Jesus Christ rolls forth. Here’s a quick look at temple news and updates from this last week.

Stained Glass Installed In Columbus Ohio Temple Steeple

The steeple for the Columbus Ohio Temple is being assembled on the ground before being lifted and secured on the roof. The first panes of stained glass have been placed, featuring magnolia blossoms against a diamond background.

Excavation Preparation For The Antofagasta Chile Temple

Excavation lines have been drawn on the site of the Antofagasta Chile Temple. The excavations are expected to begin soon. The temple will be the third constructed in Chile.

Hardscaping For The Feather River California Temple

The walls for concrete planters have been poured outside the main entrance and the rear side of the Feather River California Temple. Continuing construction includes roofing, bricklaying, and window installation.

Temple Reopenings

The Arequipa Peru and Bogotá Colombia Temples are reopening in Phase 3.

The Barranquilla Colombia, Cebu City Philippines, and Seoul Korea Temples are beginning Phase 2-B.
