Tyler Haws, all-time leading scorer for BYU and recent college graduate, is currently on a whirlwind tour of NBA pre-draft workouts. Visits so far have included the Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, and Phoenix Suns teams, with more on the way.
Today, after working out with the LA Lakers, Haws addressed the media, which included a question about his missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was there for two years. I played my freshman year at BYU with Jimmer, Jimmer Fredette, and then left basketball for two years and just taught people about Jesus Christ. It was an amazing experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ”
