Larry Gelwix
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Larry Gelwix received his BA and MA from Brigham Young University in Organizational Communications. For 36 years Gelwix served as the volunteer head coach of the Highland Rugby Team. The team's success with 418 wins and just 10 loses including 20 national championships caught the attention of Hollywood which produced "Forever Strong," a major motion picture which tells the true life story of Coach Gelwix and the Highland team. Gelwix's professional career is in the airline and travel industry and is currently CEO of Columbus Travel in Bountiful, Utah. Larry served a president of the California Fresno Mission accompanied by his wife, Cathy, 2011-2014.
