First Presidency Invites All to Annual Christmas Devotional

The First Presidency has released a new video inviting all to join them for their annual Christmas Devotional. Featuring President Thomas S. Monson’s address from last year’s devotional and a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night” from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the video encourages everyone who watches it to “Celebrate the Music and Message of Christmas” by attending or viewing the devotional. This year’s First Presidency Christmas Devotional will be held on December 7, 2014 at 6:00PM MST. Speakers will include President Henry B. Eyring,First Counselor in the First Presidency; Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder Richard J. Maynes of the Presidency of the Seventy, and Sister Bonnie L. Oscarson, Young Women general president.

For those in the Utah area or who are willing to travel, the tickets are free and available through the Conference Center by calling 801-570-0080 (locally) or toll-free 1-866-537-8457 (1-866-LDS-TIKS).

The devotional will also be shown on Mormon Channel, BYUtv, and LDS.org. Check with your local congregation to see if the devotional will be streamed via satellite at your building.
