Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Our temple worship becomes more meaningful when we prepare beforehand and enter with reverence, faith, and a desire to learn. What change in our preparation or worship would help us draw more fully on God’s power the next time we attend?
Scripture
“Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;”—Doctrine & Covenants 88:119
Quote
“There is a difference in just attending the temple and having a rich spiritual experience. The real blessings of the temple come as we enhance our temple experience. To do so, we must feel a spirit of reverence for the temple and a spirit of worship.”—L. Lionel Kendrick, “Enhancing Our Temple Experience”

Living the Principle: Enhancing Your Temple Experience
- Prepare before attending by praying about a specific question or need. Write it down and listen for guidance during temple worship.
- Arrive early enough to leave distractions behind and settle into a reverent mindset. Use the quiet time to focus on the Savior and the covenants we have made.
- Record any impressions soon after leaving the temple. Choose one clear action that puts the guidance received into practice.
