The Anti-Nephi-Lehi’s are an inspiring group of people who show us what it means to truely change and become one with Christ. In this Book of Mormon FHE lesson, we learn about becoming fully converted to the Lord and never falling away. Our FHE lessons include three lesson plans for different ages, treat recipes, activity ideas, and more.

Alma 23:6

And as sure as the Lord liveth, so sure as many as believed, or as many as were brought to the knowledge of the truth, through the preaching of Ammon and his brethren, according to the spirit of revelation and of prophecy, and the power of God working miracles in them—yea, I say unto you, as the Lord liveth, as many of the Lamanites as believed in their preaching, and were converted unto the Lord, never did fall away.

Jesus, Lover of My Soul | Hymn #102

1. Jesus, lover of my soul,
Let me to thy bosom fly,
While the nearer waters roll,
While the tempest still is high.
Hide me, O my Savior, hide,
Till the storm of life is past.
Safe into the haven guide;
Oh, receive my soul at last.

2. Other refuge have I none;
Hangs my helpless soul on thee.
Leave, oh, leave me not alone;
Still support and comfort me.
All my trust on thee is stayed;
All my help from thee I bring.
Cover my defenseless head
With the shadow of thy wing.

Begin the lesson by watching this video to better understand the events of Alma 23-29.

Ask: What do the Anti-Nephi-Lehi’s do to show their commitment to God?

Read: We can be like the Anti-Nephi-Lehi’s by making sacrifices to show God our love for Him. We can show that we are willing to follow Him and do as He asks.

Ask: What could you sacrifice to show your willingness to serve the Lord?

Share: Tell the children of a time when you made the choice to give up something to become closer to God?

End the lesson with your testimony.

Begin the lesson by studying these scriptures together or indiviually.

Ask the following questions and allow severl individuals to answer;

What did the Anti-Nephi-Lehi’s do to become converted?

 What can you do to be converted?

How do you know if you are converted?

Watch the following video on letting the Atonement of Christ create a mighty change within you.

End the lesson with your testimony.

Read David A. Bednar’s message, “Converted unto the Lord,” and look for what it means to be converted, how you can become converted, and how to know that you are converted.
