PROVO — Where there is selfishness there is division in marriage.
That is what President Henry B. Eyring, first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, told a large gathering of religious leaders Tuesday at the Vatican in Rome.
Eyring testified of the joy of becoming one with a spouse. In doing so, he shared from his own, very personal, life experiences. He also used the LDS Church’s “Proclamation to the World” as an instrument of instruction to those attending the Humanum Colloquium: The Complementarity of Man and Woman.
