Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Personal revelation grows clearer when life aligns with the Spirit’s guidance. As we move forward with faith and stay within the framework the Lord has given, the Holy Ghost reveals what to do and brings insight that steady effort alone cannot produce.
Scripture
“For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.”—2 Nephi 32:5
Quote
“We need to understand the framework within which the Holy Ghost functions. When we operate within the framework, the Holy Ghost can unleash astonishing insight.”—Dale G. Renlund, “A Framework for Personal Revelation”

Living the Principle: Tips for Receiving Personal Revelation
- Open the scriptures and read a small passage that invites the influence of the Holy Ghost, then pause and ask what action the Lord wants you to take. Act on the first clear prompting that follows, even if it feels simple or small.
- Review the covenants and commitments you have made and choose one specific behavior that keeps you inside that framework. Adjust something concrete in your routine—such as how you speak, how you spend your time, or how you treat someone—to better align with that commitment.
- Keep a small place in a notebook or journal where you record impressions that come during prayer, scripture study, or moments of quiet reflection. Return to those notes later and follow through on one impression by taking a clear step that reflects what you felt prompted to do.
