Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Even in the vastness of creation—the galaxies spinning in their courses and the mountains rising in majesty—God knows your name and sees the smallest details of your life. When you pause to look at the stars or feel the earth beneath your feet, you can remember that the same divine hands that shaped the universe are guiding you, too.
Scripture
“For have I not the fowls of heaven, and also the fish of the sea, and the beasts of the mountains? Have I not made the earth? Do I not hold the destinies of all the armies of the nations of the earth?”—Doctrine and Covenants 117:6
Quote
“Can you take a step back from whatever is in front of you and maybe another step and another, until you see a wider landscape, wider and wider still if necessary, until you are literally “thinking celestial” because you are looking at the stars and remembering worlds without number and through them their Creator?”—Karl D. Hirst, “God’s Favourite”

Living the Principle: The God of the Universe Knows Your Name
- Spend intentional time in nature to remember your Creator—observe the order, beauty, and magnitude of His works, and let that awareness draw your thoughts toward His personal awareness of you.
- Record moments when you feel seen or guided by God, no matter how small, to strengthen your recognition that God knows your name and is involved in your life’s details.
- When life feels overwhelming, practice “thinking celestial” by consciously shifting your perspective from immediate concerns to the eternal plan that connects you to the God who created and sustains all things.
