Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Do you ask, seek, and knock? We sometimes expect quick answers, but real growth comes as we keep showing up, adjusting our efforts, and staying open to a better path than the one we first had in mind. When we keep going instead of giving up, we start to notice small direction, steady strength, and clearer next steps that move us forward.
Scripture
“Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”—3 Nephi 14:7
Quote
“Prayer requires spiritual labor, and it does not always lead to the outcome we hope for. But when we feel discouraged or weighed down with sorrow, the Lord gives us comfort and strength in different ways. He may not answer all of our questions or solve all of our problems right away; rather, He encourages us to keep trying. If we then speedily align our plan with His plan, He will open the way for us.”—Milton Camargo, “Ask, Seek, and Knock”

Living the Principle: Do You Ask, Seek, and Knock?
- When seeking revelation, be specific about what you’re asking for and cut out competing priorities that pull you in opposite directions. Make a clear decision about what you’re willing to follow through on so you’re not asking for direction you don’t intend to take.
- Create space to notice guidance by stepping away from noise, distraction, or constant input that crowds out quiet impressions. Sit with the question without filling the silence, even when it feels unproductive at first.
- Check what you think you’ve received against what you already know is true from scripture, the words of living prophets, and past experience—and be willing to course-correct if it doesn’t line up. Move forward with the parts that do align and drop what doesn’t instead of forcing it to fit.
