1903: The name of the Church academy in Provo is changed from Brigham Young Academy to Brigham Young University.
1965: After her work at the Church’s pavilion at the New York World’s Fair, the First Presidency appoint Irene Edwards Staples as the official hostess of the Church.
1991: Elder James E. Faust dedicates Uganda for the preaching of the gospel.
1999: President Gordon B. Hinckley dedicates the Detroit Michigan Temple.
